ArtStation and Sketchfab are joining KitBash, the company behind the 3D art platforms KitBash3D and Greyscalegorilla. The move brings four well known names in the creative industry under one roof, uniting asset libraries, professional tools, and two of the most popular platforms for publishing and discovering art.

What the Acquisition Means

KitBash3D and Greyscalegorilla give artists and studios access to large libraries of 3D assets and materials, professional design and animation tools, educational resources, and workflow technology that plugs directly into leading creative applications. With ArtStation and Sketchfab now part of the group, artists are supported across the full creative process, from developing an initial idea to sharing finished work and building a career.

No Changes for Existing Users

For creators, day to day life on ArtStation and Sketchfab stays the same. There are no changes to how you access or use either platform. Portfolios, libraries, and existing workflows will keep running exactly as they do today, and logins remain unchanged.

What Stays the Same

Artists can continue to upload portfolios, publish blogs, buy and sell 2D and 3D assets and prints, and discover jobs and talent on ArtStation. Pro subscriptions are unaffected, and job seeking and posting features continue to run as before. The ArtStation Digital Marketplace and Prints Marketplace remain open for purchases.
